Karine and Céline naturally got together again on this project to bring you inspiration, right at home, this summer ! Whether you want to follow every single class or at a self-paced rythm, they will teach you new techniques, new color palettes, new way of designing your layouts !

Who’s the audience for such a class?

This online class has been thought, made, created for scrapbook lovers that want to have fun with us !Whether you are a beginner or advanced scrappbooker, the Summer Camp online class is just for you !

The workshops have been made to guide you, teach you tips and tricks, new techniques, bring you inspiration and motivation all Summer long !

Don’t feel scared or intimidated to join us (especially if you just got started with your very first Scrapbook projects) : the best thing about online classes is that you can follow the mat your own pace, without stress, at home, with friends or by yourself…well just do it the way you like !

Welcome on our blogs !

Scrapbooking is popular everywhere in the world. Whether we are from France, Italy, Spain, Brazil, United States, Canada, Singapore, Australia or any other countries, we ALL love Scrapbooking, we all know the products and the colors.

As there are lots of Scrapbookers all the world that haven’t had a chance to take real classes yet, we decided on doing this class in FRENCH and ENGLISH.

Then, all the workshops will be posted every Tuesday : a first class will be posted that day, by Karine or Céline, then one of them will make another project inspired by the one posted by her fellow co-scrapbooker, on Friday. That way, you’ll get 2 projects for one class !

We’ll also post ideas, tips, step-by-step projects, videos… inspiration posts, music, books, photos…for 2 months !

Pacman Finished Projects!

Ms. Pacman was a great game - so far I have made 3 layouts and 2 cards.  I think I can get a couple more layouts out of my pile that is left!!

Balzer Designs Book Club

Julie Balzer started a new Book Club for crafting books!  The first one she reviewed was Scraptastic - I need to get a copy of it - it sounds very cool!

Ms Pacman - the Kit

1.  7 pieces of pattern paper: JBS, 7 gypsies (mykonos & Lille), scenic route (2 different ones), Cosmo Cricket (get happy) and an unknown sheet of green turtles.
2.  1 yard of trim - all unknown - maybe some maya road in there?

4. old alphabet set - found some memory makers passport alphas - have a copyright of 2008, so I am guessing they are probably about this old??
5. 1 bottle of embellishments - jar of label holders!!  these puppies are at least 5 years old I think

So we have a new games this month.... Ms. Pacman - aka. stashbuster!  Who knew how many pieces of scrap paper a person could have squirreled away???

The Finish

Throwing in the towl on this month's Calvinball.  But I did take Doris up on her challenge - scrap a Easter photo for a bonus point + another bonus point for scrapping in the last 6 hours of calvinball + bonus point for pictures less than 7 days old + bonus point for using all JBS products + 1 point for layout.  WHEW!  that makes a massive 5 points for one layout!!  Gotta love the rules on this game :-)

I also finished the March Canvas Create class from Donna Downey - that's gotta be worth at least 5 points??

I decided to use the stamp to make mine a full piece of patterned paper - quick and easy!

Calvinball is officially over tomorrow, so i managed to squeak in 2 more points for the month!!  Pretty good since I had to vacate my craft room and give it back to a guest bedroom for the next two weeks!

Remember This Album

Finally got some photos for my Remember This album that I did from a class offered by Ali Edwards.  I LOVE how it turned out!!  Instead of a bunch of journaling though I found quotes that I felt went with my pictures and printed that on the journaling pages - I'm not much of a journaler I'm afraid.  the pictures are 5 of my favorite pictures of my boys from the past 7 years.

You win some... you lose some...

First day of soccer season - my 6/7 year old team won 5-0 - the other team didn't have a chance.  Turn about is fair play and my 8/9 team lost 4-1.  Lots of things to work on :-)

Sitting in my scrap room looking at the royal mess I created yesterday and thinking I might go to bed instead and deal with it tomorrow :-).  we are hosting a soccer coach from the UK next week so I have to clean up the room to find the bed.  Talk about incentive!!

Squeaking one in

Managed to get one layout done tonight... no soccer - fields to muddy.  But the weather was absolutely gorgeous outside... should have gone to the park or something.  Oh well.

Attempted layering of several papers - definitely out of my comfort zone, but I think I like the results!  2 points to me (most importantly - 1 layout + 1 JBS product).

What a great day!  We took the boys to the Houston Livestock & Rodeo Show this afternoon - I think they were more interested in the Carnival games and the Sausage on a Stick than looking at the animals though :-)

Tomorrow we leave for 3 days at the beach!

Hello Spring Break

Boys get a week off from school!!!  To bad it has started off raining and cold...

YAY FOR FRIDAY!

Okey Dokey... Friday is finally here and I had the afternoon free to PLAY and add to my measly score.

First up:  I had to clean off my table in order to actually do any projects - so that is 1 point + .5 point for before/after photos:

WHEW!  Once that was done, I could get down to something fun....  like this challange tossed out by Paula Gilarde... Inspiration Challenge #40: symmetry rules!    

So this layout (1) + Challange (1) + Calvinball member challange (1) = 3 POINTS.

Here is a little jar I made for CCE class to collect the rice bowl money - JBS girl stamp!

I also finished up 2 other layouts.

Oh yeah - I am claiming the 1 point for "journaling on students paper" - except that I spent an hour "journaling" on some program specs for the developers.  Fair is fair :-)

Got a nice box of goodies today from Scrapbooking Warehouse - a new melting pot & some beeswax to play around with.

Calvinball - GAME ON!

I am taking part in the shenaigans of the ladies over at JBS Mercantile on the forums for a game of Calvinball.  The rules seem to change by the hour, but promises to be a lot of fun, as well as some incentive to get some projects completed this month!!!!

So.... since I am a newbie and I started late, I am at the great point count of 2.  BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!!  Since I blogged about it, there is another point.  SO I am at a whopping total of 3 points so far.  Gotta find some time to do some scrapbooking!
