The Finish

Throwing in the towl on this month's Calvinball.  But I did take Doris up on her challenge - scrap a Easter photo for a bonus point + another bonus point for scrapping in the last 6 hours of calvinball + bonus point for pictures less than 7 days old + bonus point for using all JBS products + 1 point for layout.  WHEW!  that makes a massive 5 points for one layout!!  Gotta love the rules on this game :-)

I also finished the March Canvas Create class from Donna Downey - that's gotta be worth at least 5 points??

I decided to use the stamp to make mine a full piece of patterned paper - quick and easy!

Calvinball is officially over tomorrow, so i managed to squeak in 2 more points for the month!!  Pretty good since I had to vacate my craft room and give it back to a guest bedroom for the next two weeks!

Remember This Album

Finally got some photos for my Remember This album that I did from a class offered by Ali Edwards.  I LOVE how it turned out!!  Instead of a bunch of journaling though I found quotes that I felt went with my pictures and printed that on the journaling pages - I'm not much of a journaler I'm afraid.  the pictures are 5 of my favorite pictures of my boys from the past 7 years.

You win some... you lose some...

First day of soccer season - my 6/7 year old team won 5-0 - the other team didn't have a chance.  Turn about is fair play and my 8/9 team lost 4-1.  Lots of things to work on :-)

Sitting in my scrap room looking at the royal mess I created yesterday and thinking I might go to bed instead and deal with it tomorrow :-).  we are hosting a soccer coach from the UK next week so I have to clean up the room to find the bed.  Talk about incentive!!

Squeaking one in

Managed to get one layout done tonight... no soccer - fields to muddy.  But the weather was absolutely gorgeous outside... should have gone to the park or something.  Oh well.

Attempted layering of several papers - definitely out of my comfort zone, but I think I like the results!  2 points to me (most importantly - 1 layout + 1 JBS product).
